When I,m logged off, my fan turns on & off, & sometimes it sounds like my hard drive is spinning, is this O.K.

its ok because small programs run in the background and the fan spins as needed along with the hard disk
Yes, it's normal. Some of your programs may be running in the background causing the fan to come on and the hard disk to run.

yes fan will come on as needed to keep system cool. HD will spin unless you set time limit for system to shut it off in the POWER options
No man if u r hard drive is spinning it is not good at all it means u r hard disk drive will getting serious problem in next few days or months.

Give it to service center for replecment.
