My speakers are not working properly?

I had this happen to me. What it is, is a bad speaker jack at the back of your sound card. Pull the speaker jack out about 1/4 way and see if that helps.
1.may be problem related to setting of sound.
2.may be in Sound drivers
Be sure that they're plugged in all the way in the back of the computer sound card, you might hafta push pretty hard. Or try unplugging and re-plugging. And make sure they're plugged into the power source as well, and all the connections are firmly plugged in together. Hope that helps.
Try to update the sound driver.
try plugging earphones in - if the music sounds good - it's your speakers. If it sounds the same, then you might want to try clicking on your speaker icon or accessing it in accessories and make sure that a "mute" box isn't clicked somewhere or the slider is down when it should be in the middle.
Generally you have three volume controls one on the speakers themselves one in gaming and music software and one on your desk top( bottom right hand corner) Check and make sure wires are plugged into speaker out ,not mike or ear phones.
