SLI nvidia 7600gt drivers?
There reason is I've tried to update my graphic card drivers with a normal nvidia 7000 series driver and it will not update, so do i have to update the driver for sli mode...
Answers:
no,i beleive you have to use the normal forceware drivers and enable the sli in the control panel
howver theres a video explaining how to set up a sli p.c at http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_di... to part 8 and it will tell you how to enable sli in windows xp
to enable sli simply go to nvidia control panel>3d settings>enable sli configuration>then tick the box "enable sli(recommended)"then click apply, the screen will then go black for a moment and then a message will appear confirming that you want sli, just click yes
you will then have sli graphics, however this technology is still in its infancy, but more and more games are now developed to enhance sli technology
and for a extra bit of realism in your games why not add a ageia physX card, this is basically a add on pci bus card that performs extra real time physic calculations within the games, for example when a explosion occurs, instead of a small puff of smoke, bricks will fly and phsically interact with each other and bounce of walls, just as they would in real life
you can buy these for around £100 from http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productin...
i hope this helps
good luck mate!
