My computer doesn't have a "Switch User" setting when I go to Log off...what can I do?

I have Windows XP office edition and I want to have a "switch user" setting. What can I do?

It may not be set, If windows L just locks the computer then do the following:


Enable or Disable Fast User Switching
Note: To enable Fast User Switching, you must also enable the Use the Welcome screen option. This feature cannot be used if your computer is a member of a domain. To enable Fast User Switching:
1.Log on to the computer as an administrator.
2.Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User Accounts.
3.Click Change the way users log on or off.
4.If it is not already selected, click to select the Use the Welcome screen check box.

NOTE: The Use Fast User Switching check box is unavailable until you click to select the Use the Welcome screen check box.
5.Click to select the Use Fast User Switching check box, and then click Apply Options. Quit the User Accounts tool.
Windows key+L is the shortcut combination to switch users
File a bug report with microsoft.
I had that happen to me once before, I forget what I did, but play around with the control panel and soon it'll let you switch users. Sorry I'm pretty vague..
Go to <Control Panel> ... then <User Accounts> .. from there Click on <Change the ways users log on and off> .. then check the option < Use Fast User Switching>
you need to go to controll panel and create another user account i think. it wont ask you to switch user, when there is only one account
U Know about computer hardware only try this if else don't do this
u just click on the start and select setting and goto control panel
u select the user account there is ur solution of our problem
but one thing if u do un wanted changes it becomes big problem to u ok byeeeeee take care
add another user
As a pc administrator, go to start menu > control panel > user accounts > click "change the way users log on or off" > check "use fast user switching" > click apply options.. there you go!
