When i play sound from my computer nothing comes out?
Answers:
find ur master volume control. sometimes the control panel volume is not the main source to find if it is muted or not
need new speakers
um something's wrong with the speakers.
Disregard the above posts...it has nothing to do with your volume. Somehow your sound card has become disconnected from your computer.
You may need to call tech support so they can walk you through examining and possibly replacing your sound card. If you aren't getting any audio and you are getting warnings about not sound device, then obviously the computer can't find a device to process the sound.
If you have onboard audio and not a PCI sound card, you may need to check that it is enabled in BIOS.
there must be a sound card installed, but the prob must be with the set-up
just go to the control panel and uninstall the device and try re installing it again from the add hardware place..
If this doesnt work, then u must change the Sound Card
Check the connections. Unplug the speakers completely from the computer then plug back in again. Restart the computer and it should recognize them. If no luck, run windows update to look for the drivers. Still no luck? Go to the manufacturer's website for the latest driver for your model of speakers and operating system. Last, if it still doesn't work, buy new speakers. It usually is NOT the speakers themselves, but rather a wrong connection or bad drivers.
the problem is "No sound device installed"
Go to "Control Panel" >"Performance and Maintenance">"system">"Hardwar... Manager"
You can chk if there is any an exclamation mark on the sound devie. If yes, it's not working properly. You can try to reinstall the driver. If you dun hv a driver disc, read further:
1. If you're using a sound card (e.g. creative), check the model & go to download from creative.com
2. If this is a built-in sound device on motherboard, go find the motherboard driver, jus reinstall it & restart the PC.
If all the abv doesnt help, there might be some problem with hardware. Either the sound card is loosely connected, or you hv to replace it.
I'm sure there's nthing to do wit speakers or mute coz "it always comes out with a warning that there is no sound device installed"
Basically, try to reinstall drivers & restart PC could hv solve the problem.
if you have a PC then you need to buy a new sound card because not all speakers work with some sound card and with the sign "No device installed" it means the sound card was never install so you either download it from the manufactures site or just get a new one
