Is it possible to find the brand name of motherboard in computers ?
Answers:
One simple thing to do if you build your own computer is to open up the case and take a look inside on the motherboard itself. It should be proudly embossed in big bold lettering.
But if you buy your unit from a respectable vendor and want to keep the warranty intact, you shouldn't open up your case.
Well, it depends also on whether your case is sealed with warranty void stickers.
Another way it to pave your way through the Control Panel.
Go to System>Hardware>Device Manager>System Devices> and look up 'Motherboard Resources'
It should be written there.
A more simpler way is to download a third party utilities program that allows you to probe deep into your system. SiSoftware Sandra is one such program.
Once downloaded, just go to Mainboard to know all the things you never needed to know about your motherboard.
Good luck, hope it helps !
you have to buy INTEL ORIGINAL M/B
And another ASUS with ATI or Nvidia Graphics.
these are the best motherboard
Inside the computer BIOS there is a serial number, which includes a code for the manufacturer. This number is shown onscreen (lower line) during the memory count that is always run when you turn your computer on. Press the Pause/Break key on your keyboard when the memory is being counted and you will be able to read the BIOS serial number from the frozen display.
There is a very good article about this at the site linked to below.
I won't copy it here, you will have to visit it.
Yes, you can.
There should be a set of characters on the motherboard that are bold, or a UPC looking tag.
Each motherboard is different, so what you need to do is first look between the PCI slots, if not there, look along side the board, if not there, then start googleing numbers that you do find and see what comes closest to what you have.
Google has IMAGES as well, so you can match it up pretty well there also.
Hope this helps
It will be on the board itself. wont be the ones on the chips and things. Be sure to look for any revisions too that will be shown near the name and model of the board because, if your board is a revised one and you replace it with an older version you may not be able to run your cpu, ram, etc. You can also try going into bios (usually "delete" on startup) and it may show it on main page. It may also flash it onto screen, sometimes very briefly, upon startup.
At the time of posting you can view the mother baord name with chip confiuration and Ram checks
