i think why the sound is'nt work is because there is something wrong with my multimedia audio controller but it won't let me reinstall it because it s saying the software needed is not found anyone know how to fix it

Sounds like you may have the wrong driver installed. Go to
http://www.driveragent.com and run a free scan. It will let you know if you need a different driver. Then go to
http://www.driverguide.com and download it for free.
so you're basically missing a piece of software. I'd say find what you're missing and google for it.
