I believe what you're asking for is called 'active desktop' (winxp)
You won't be able to use your screensaver files, you'll need specific active desktop files, but you may find some 'desktops' similar to some screensavers you may have.

Im not shure if there is a way to conver screen saver pics inot desktop picks. Screen savers are special files, desktops are just your normal jpgs as for putting the same pic on the background as the screen saver itsd easy just take the background pic and use it in whatever screen saver you want (i think the best would be the one where the windows logo bounces around the screen). Go to your desttop right click and pick properites that should get you inot the area with the screen savers, the pick the one you want and select advanced or something like that and chage the picture file to something else.
