Computer help??

well look i had an Norton antivirus 2007 then someone told me to get an antivirus called ca antivirus cause my Norton hogs most of my computer so i wanted to ask is ca antivirus good?

Answers:
Many people dislike norton because it takes up a lot of your computers RAM. It's good to leave norton in if you have 1gb of RAM or more. If you really insist on changing, I suggest using Avast or AVG over the CA Antivirus which I have never heard of. The ones I recommended are free and are very reliable.
It is ok. It has no spyware detection, so you must get these also. Your friend is correct about Norton being a resource hog.
no, definatley not!!
It is okay. I would stick w/ norton. Who told u it takes up to much space on ur comp?

There are several AV solutions out there.
A list off the top of my head
McAfee
Norton
CA
Kaspersky
PC-cillin
Panda

The list goes on

Every anti-virus has its ups and down. I personally love McAfee and I've tried a few of the others. It really depends on your computer, your experience level and whether or not you want it free or paid.
