Leaving computer over night?

Its been a long standing debate on whether or not to turn your computer off when you are not using it. Nerds are polarized on both sides :-) . Personally, I leave all my computers on all the time. Have a desktop that's been running for over 6 months now with no ill effects. I'd say leave it on unless you are going away for 3 days or more, mainly in case it catches fire or something, but that is highly unlikely
Nothing bad should happen if you leave your computer running for a couple of days. Most computers are made to be left on most if not all of the time.
My computer has basically been on for several years. I leave it on all of the time. The only time I shut it completely down is if I am going to be gone for several days or weeks.
So don't worry, your computer will be fine :o)

I've had my old computer once on for 3 weeks. No problems. So long you have good cooling (looks like you do) you will have no problems. If there is a problem with the CPU fan (processor fan) then the computer will turn off. This is common what people do with there computers. Also dont forget power consumption.
No. The fans in the computer are not likely to cause any problems. They do not draw enough current to cause any type of electrical shortage.
Your main concern should really be a power outage, but if you have a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) connected and configured, then you should have no worries.
