go to windows web site and there look for windows live one care,for free they give you a scan of you computer ,to see if you have virus spy ware or worns.after that if the problem still .go to super spy ware on your search and download ,is a God an free program too,to clean your computer.
go to start>run>type msnconfig and press enter>the system config tool utility will load up >click ont the startup tab on the far right hand side>click disable all>click ok and restart your computer>when the computer reboots it will tell u the startup proccess has changed, click the small box so u dont get this message every time you start up, this should close any programs that may be sitting hidden on ur pc sapping you hd space, if it stops it try freeing more files for space and do a system defrag.
If you dont have any completely vital files i would def. do a windows reinstall.
Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm,trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com
