Just bought an acer Vertion 7800 in March this year. And it started crashing recently and is getting more frequently. Everytime after the crash, it will restart itself and an error message will appear saying the system has just recovered from a serious error. And that I need to upgrade the BIOS. But I have no idea what is this at all. Anyone experience this before? Any solution? People at Acer aren't too helpful and I know nuts about BIOS. PLEASE HELP!

Woah... You bought this desktop in March THIS year? This series is so outdated that even Acer homepage doesn't have it on its product category. This series has 1 year limited on-site warranty, so you may call Acer and have them send someone to you.
Acer Vertion 7800 has Intel 945G Express motherboard, so go to
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-... and
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-... to install thsese two utilities. Remember to choose right Operating System. This series comes with Windows XP Professional 32-bit, but resellers may have installed other OS as well. It may help you, but I'm not so sure.
