Just started having problems playing anything on my computer, the movies start up then jerk, freeze, most often don't play at all, just a still frozen picture...why? and how can I fix this, they all played fine before...I haven't removed anything from my computer, it just happened all of a sudden.

Buy a CD/DVD Lens cleaner which should cost about $10 US.
Could be a problem with your cd/dvd player on your computer. I had a similar problem but it was because Windows Media Player was set to a different region, so it could only play specific DVD's. My advice would be to download a different DVD player such as Blaze DVD Player, it can be found on www.download.com
