OK I just installed a new mother board, chip, RAM and power supply and went to start up my system and couldn't get it to boot. I tried Safe mode and still no luck so I popped in my windows XP disk hoping I could just fix the problem from there. I went to recover and started running that section. I was asked for the admin password but the thing is that when I installed XP the first time I didn't put in a password.
Any suggestions folks.
Thanks

Use this put it in when you start your computer with your cd rom drive listed before your Hard Drive on boot sequence. Here you can "reset" any admin password that may have been created -
I use it whenever my staff member's "Forget" the admin password they set..or they claim they never had one.
The only thing I can think of is that the BIOS needs to have (tattoo) the identity of the new motherboard, if you didn't do that on install. Otherwise try using the default PW, admin.
