The sound on my computer is all messed up and fuzzy...?

I wish you hadn't said headphones. But, the shortest route to figuring this out is to make sure you have the most recent updates for your computer. When is the last time you ran Windows Update?

While you're doing that, you should surf to the website of your sound card's manufacturer to see if they have the latest drivers for your device.

You can right-click on my computer, select Manage, open Device Manager, and check to see if all of your hardware is operating properly. You'll see a yellow triangle enclosing and apostrophe mark immediately when the device has issues.

You could also open Control Panel, double-click Sounds and Audio Devices to begin a troubleshooting process.

If none of this works, you might want to buy another computer.
Check your headphones or speakers if the hardware itself have any problem first.

Put another speaker or headphone in and see if it's still the same. If it is, it's most likely to be the soundcard.
