When/which PC should I get?

Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a desktop PC soon, but there's no rush. When is the best time to buy? Is there a best time? I'm probably going to get a Dell. I think I'd like the third one on this page - http://tinyurl.com/3bwedy But upgrade it to 4G of RAM and put in a card reader and maybe upgrade the Hard Drive. And I'm also not sure which audio option to choose... the 7.1 or Audigy Advanced etc...
Any suggestions will be appriciated! Except for the "Get a Mac" people, I already have one ;)
Thanks.

Consider getting ABS because they are cheaper than Dells and have the latest tech. as well...

If you are getting Vista 32, consider 2GB RAM or more. Don't get a video card that is less than the 8 series (if it's nVidia) because of it's DirectX 10 support...Processor would be an Intel Core 2 Duo unless you're an AMD fan boy and waiting for their new line of processors...

Have a look on the abs.com website and customize your own.

Good luck!
Dell = no
i personally like HP's
pcs are for problems!
In my opinion, there's not really a best time to buy one. There's always new technology coming out, so if you need a new PC, I'd say go for it now! :)

Also, the PC you want to get is excellent. And as for the audio, it's really up to you. Either one will sound good, it just depends on how on picky you are about audio quality. If you want only the highest quality audio possibly, then go with the sound card. But if you're just a casual listener like I am, then integrated audio will be more than enough.

Hope this helps, and enjoy your new comp! :)
Get a Dell or HP.
