just experiment and you will learn things yourself - thats what i did.
Marry a genius, constantly push yourself to the limits and don't stop trying. There are alot of things to learn and don't be afraid of making mistakes.

Usually people learn from expirience. So you need to just get on the computer, and do do things with it.
Are you talking about Html coding? You can learn that online easy. Just type in html on Google. It doesn't work on answers.yahoo.com though...sadly.
Really, you need to explain better what you want to get into. If you just mean the computer in general. Just open up your My Computer folder and look around. Don't change anything...but look around. Type in the names of folders when you don't know what they are(On google, of course.)
Get yourself a book about computers then you can go back to it when you get stuck.

I started out using computers when I was 6... started out
as a DOS, then win 95, 98, 2000, nt, xp, vista.
started programming, 3d graphics, internet, software,
i basically learned about everything that makes a computer and I built one myself, over time I accumulated a large knowledge base of computer "data" you might call it :)
so now all my friends and family rely on me if they have trouble with their computers then they come to me and I fix it :)
The best method depends on you. Which way do you learn best? Basic skills courses are available at local colleges The European Computer Driving License (ECDL) is a reasonable qualification to try for. Once you have reasonable competence then you will know enough to see what area you are interested in. The benefit of doing the ECDL is that you will also get to meet others and will realise that you are not I repeat not a numbnut. Good luck. Remember its impossible to come 2nd.in binary
