I downloaded "Recover My Files" but now my computer is acting funny. What should I do?

The program took 7 hours to scan my portable hard drive and it located all of my missing files. Now I have a big problem. I can move my mouse around, but it wont respond to most of my "clicks" but it will respond to keyboard commands. For example, my computer will ignore me if I click on the red x to close a program but alt-f4 closes it just fine. Yes, my mouse is plugged in and I can tell it's working because it will let me click on some things, but not others. I'm pretty sure restarting my computer will fix the error but then I think I will need to scan my hard drive for another 7 hours. What the heck is going on?

Answers:
I am not sure what is going on, but I have used Recover My Files before and had to contact their support team. They were really helpful and sorted out the problem I was having (user error, I played around with some of the settings and messed it up!). The email address I used was support@recovermyfiles.com Try contacting them and see if they can help you.
yikes, remove that thing after wards but for now( if the search is done) Ctrl-Alt-Del and look for that program and shut it off that may fix things
