The best thing you can do is be patient and just spend a lot of time trying different things on the computer. The more new things you try the more you will figure out. Before you know it you will understand a lot of different things. I've been working with computers for almost twice as long as you are old, and I know a lot, but I learn something new each day. Good luck and keep trying new stuff..!!
try reading computer magazines
or search for computer resources on wikipedia
id recommend the latter if ur knowledge is very limited
It's pretty easy. What I done was get into a program at school. My instructor taught me everything and when he couldn't teach me the guy under him was teaching me everything. It's really a hands on thing. You can't just read what to do out of a book. Granted, it might help for a person experienced but not for one that is just starting out. Find someone experienced enough to teach you. That is the only way you will learn.
things inside

There is no easy way. It takes time and allot of working with PC's. What I recommend is that every time you work on a PC take notes on problem and fix. It is amazing how often some of the same problems show up.
The first thing you can do is save your projects for now on. Whenever you create something save it. You would be surprised how many times you make a project from scratch when if you took time to save a old project you could of modified it to suite your purpose. real time saver.
heres a couple of links for you to look at ...p.s it takes time and alot of reading and trying ..

For you to be great in computer, first you got to learn how to use it. If you want to learn more about the ins and out, study the basic applications on your computer, like the microsoft office, if you're using one. Buy learning softwares. I think you can find cheap ones on eBay. Once you get familiar with your computer. Learn about the hardware, the parts of your computer. When you finish high-school, you may enroll to computer classes for intensive training. Don't rush yourself, learning computer is a continuous process. Technology changes evry minute.
the easiest way to learn what a program does, is by creating an experiment file, and then just pressing all the buttons to see what they do
rather then having a goal for a project, shape a project around the skills you have to hand- youll soon flourish

good luck
To become great, you need to study and use it a lot. Check online for all the little features publisher and powerpoint have, then learn to use them back to front.

HTH
You need to just try new things and learn on your mistakes and soon youll have enough expirience, just keep trying to do new things on your computer, learn more computer languages like Java and HTML and such, try writing your own scripts for programs.
