Power supply 300 watts. possible?

hi! i have a 300 watts power supply. i would like to upgrade my memory to 1G and HDD to 160G. i also have a 256 mb of video card and my motherboard is ASUS P478 slot. can my power supply carry this?

Answers:
yes it can handle it most likely however if its a generic supply it wouldnt hurt to get a namebrand in the 3-500 watt range coz it will usually make the whole system more stable ..
Yes. I just built a system with similar specs with a 300 watt power supply. Unless you have several hard drives, that should be enough power.
It should be able to, but I would recommend more. I have a 500 watt psu to play safe. You need to consult the individual parts' manuals. They tell you what they need.
