Wich is better. Windows or Mac?
Answer:
what a polarizing question!
Windows is the industry standard; you'll almost never hold compatibility issues with Windows installed. If you plan to connect to a corporate or college network, masses do not allow Macintosh computers.
About the only industry where on earth Apple sets the standard is the sound-industry. Video and Photo industries rely on cross-platform compatible software that runs on both; while many animation studios use Linux server farm for rendering.
If you just want a computer for personal and everyday use, I'd influence the Mac is better but I'd tell you to buy a PC anyway for 4 reason:
1) Even the cheapest Mac designed for email/word-processing, etc., is far more expensive than the P.C.
2) You can get it fixed at valid prices almost anywhere.
3) 99.99% of all programs will work on Windows; not so for P.C.
4) Easily upgradeable and if you ever want to merge a corporate network, after you can.
Good luck if you're buying one!
Windows cause of effortlessness of use. Mac is better for makin movies and stuff tho. Win is better for relaxin or workin.
definatly mac, they are easily 5 years more advanced than micrsoft, and immediately that they have the core 2 duo processor they can play adjectives ur fav games from windows on ur mac.
WINDOWS AND MAC ARE BOTH GOOD THEY BOTH HOLD A LOT OF MEMORY
Windows. You can do alot more things on it but on Mac's you can narrowly do anything.
windows...the solitary thing macs are worthy for is if you are doing serious design making or video editing...even so, there not too biddable for that.
I don't know that one is better.
I stick with Windows because i enjoy $thousands of software,
that will not work on Mac.
MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC MAC AND DID I SAY MAC? Macs are easy to use and don't crash. They are apposite for the fun stuff, like games and movie making and song-writing, and also fully clad for the boring stuff like spreadsheets. The tutorials for the preloaded programs are excellent. I own a windows laptop and am using my mac right very soon. I definately prefer the mac. It costs more but every penny is worth it.
Short and sweet.
Plain and simple.
Windows is the best!!!
It's a matter of personal nouns. That said, I'm sure you will see irrational fans for both sides who relate you lies to get you to use their favorite operating system, similar to it's faster. To answer your question, Macs are proprietary, import it's hard or impossible to upgrade almost adjectives Macs (if you can, it's usually only the RAM), whereas Windows runs on almost anything. Manufacturers' computers, such as HP or Dell, are regularly proprietary too, but not even close to Apple's restrictiveness. Macs also have much smaller quantity support for hardware, so it won't run on more than four or five motherboards, where Windows (as economically as almost all core operating systems, like Linux or BSD) can run on almost adjectives, if not adjectives, hardware configurations. For these hardware-limiting reasons, Macs recurrently simply do not have like peas in a pod high-performing hardware as Windows-based PCs can. For example, Macs are not configurable with the Core 2 Extreme QX6800 or the nVidia 8800 Ultra, especially contained by SLI mode, whereas Windows-based machines are (this hardware is expensive and nevertheless a complete waste of money, I purely wanted to prove a point). Also, when within is a large error, such as a kernel dump, Windows shows you the blue peak, letting you know the hex codes you need to diagnose and fix the problem yourself. Macs a moment ago shut off and inform you to take your computer to an Apple store. Windows also have better software support, but that's just because the beyond measure majority of computers run Windows. All other operating systems in the minority are at a huge disadvantage surrounded by terms of software screening. Furthermore, if you run good firewalls and anti-virus software (as surrounded by not Norton or McAfee or anything that came beside your computer), run a hardware firewall (such as a router), use a secure browser similar to Firefox, and don't go to sites you're not supposed to, you won't get hold of malware (this includes spyware, adware, viruses, trojans, etc.), no thing what OS you're running. In addition, Macs cost much more than Windows-based PCs because Mac OS X is designed one and only to install and run on Macs, and because some people inevitability or want Mac OS X, Apple takes lead of this and price gouges. Finally, although this quantity is purely my opinion, the interface of Windows is better. I fell claustrophobic when I use a Mac, because of small things resembling how hard it is to launch programs unless it's contained by the dock, or how the windows maximize. They don't, they single grow to how big Apple thinks you want them. I only hate the certainty that there is no start menu or taskbar (or similar, such as the K menu surrounded by KDE under Linux) that let you select which window of the overt program you want. Instead, you must Ctrl-click on the icon you used to originally launch the program (meaning that if you want to launch a spanking new window, you can't do it from the Dock) and select the fanlight. Very inefficient if you ask me. So that said, I think you should choose the OS to sit _your_ requests, and it might not even be Windows or Mac. The one that suits my needs is Windows.
I resembling pcs. I'll tell you this. Even the dignified end mac have a Geforce 7300 graphics card in it. Thats poopy, for 2000 bucks you should know how to have a much better video card. You don't return with you the bang for the buck beside Apple. Apple has nice software that doesn't crash. Not the best for gaming but virtuous for creativity programs like music, video, pictures. But who wants to remuneration thousands when you can get more for the dollar beside a PC.
PC better deal.
Apple make up 5% of the computer market.
Windows is better than Mac.
It depends on what you want to do beside the computer.
Both are fine and both will do what you need to do.
for some things Mac is better and for other things MS is better. The alien Vista has much impossible to tell apart things as the new mac. There is little difference contained by the better machines.
