You're confusing ExpressCard 54 slot with a pci slot. There is a large adapter that will allow pci cards (not pci-e or agp cards) to work. But really no pci cards that are much better then the on-board.
YOU DEFINITELY CANNOT UPGRADE YOUR GRAPHIC CARD ON YOUR LAPTOP BECAUSE IT IS INTEGRATED TO THE MOTHERBOARD. THE PCI SLOT ON YOUR LAPTOP IS FOR MODEM CARDS OR FOR BROADBAND CARDS TO ACCESS THE INTERNET, NOT FOR UPGRADING THE GRAPHIC OUTPUT. HOPE THIS ANSWER HELPS.
Ok, HIRE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING TO DO IT FOR YOU. Believe me, it's bloody hard to work on laptops; everything in them is compressed. If Circuit City said you can, then don't believe them. Go to someplace like CompUSA, which has people WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. Generic stores have generic knowledge, you see. I'm not sure about plugging a new card into the PCI slot, I specialize in desktops you see, but go to the closest CompUSA or similar computer-specific store in your city and ask them. (If it's an integrated card, I don't think it CAN be upgraded, but I don't do laptops.)
