Is There Any way To Hook-Up The PC Speaker System To a Laptop..?

I've just bought a Sony Laptop ( VGN - CR150E/B ) and have been wondering if its possible to Hook-Up a PC Speaker System To My New Laptop.
If I could Please tell me what I need...

Most PC speaker systems use a 1/8inch plug (usually light green in color) to connect to the computer. On a laptop just plug the1/8inch plug into the headphone jack.
You may be able to accomplish this through your headphone jacks. It would then send the sound out of your headphone jacks and into the PC speakers.

Ditto. However, the speakers must be amplified to get the correct volume.
