Maxtor 6L300RO Installation?
Is there a place i can download drivers to put on a floppy to install during fresh windows installation?

There are no drivers for ATA drives that use the EIDE interface of a common Mobo. Just plug it in allow the BIOS to detect it. If the BIOS does not recognize it, from the link offered below you can find the manual settings required.
Plug in the Windows CD, Boot from it and let setup do the rest (format, partition, op sys install).
OBTW, when I was trying to find out what the heck a PATA was I found the model numbers you had sited. Apparently Maxtor's search feature sucks.

download and install MaxBlast5
It will setup your drive from within windows.
Note: I never was able to find the model you stated on their site, but MaxBlast should work fine.
