I have no idea what the heck I am doing. I am not a computer wiz so the manual is of no help to me. I am trying to figure out how to add songs to my spanky brand new mp3 player (Not an ipod) I installed the disc that it came with.. so i thought but my computer doesnt show any new devices or hardware installed. So i am thinking it didnt install? I made a playlist in windows media music thingy and i hit burn then my cd poped open not what i wanted... i hit surge nope nothing... I am so confused what am i doing wrong? ARGGGG!

Before you do anything regarding this, you'll need to install the drivers for the MP3 player.
If the disc didn't automatically show up when you put it in, go to START > MY COMPUTER, and look under "Devices with Removable Storage". You should find a CD drive under that category (usually drive D). Double click this and the installation will start.
Sometimes MP3 companies include software to get music onto the device, so be careful and read all of the information.
Also check the manual to see if the device needs to be connected before installing the software. This varies in different MP3 players.
