Does video card affects the game speed?
What does [512MB 128bit] or [256MB 64bit] ... [etc] mean?
512MB/256MB is for ___________?
and 128/64 bit means that________?
Tnx alot.. pipzz
Answers:
Yes it does affect the games speed , if it has less mb it will slower the a video card that has 512mb .
Video card is the MOST important factor is deciding Game quality.
the More MB of ram, the better...
dont know what the technical aspect of your question means but yes video card does affect game speed. especially if you are playing a well detailed game. (my personal fav's eq and WoW for example) they are high detail and the better the video card the quicker the interface load.
and as the guy above me. defintely look into ram
the 512Mb is the video memory and the bit is the graphics depth...
yes, it does affect game speed. if the card has a hard time processing advanced graphics, then the game will load more slowly. the higher the MB and Bit numbers, the better the quality.
what do u mean by game speed.. the point of a video card is when u're playing a game without a video card, your game can lag not because of the connection but because of a lack of graphics.. so if u get a video card with good memory like 512 and up ur computer's ram to about 1.5-2 gigs then most games won't lag at all.. basically it won't feel like the game is glitching the whole time..
Most video games today run more on the video card than on the main processor so yes it affects game speed more or less. It can depend on the game, but most are video card depend ant.
512MB is how much memory you have on the video card and 128/64bit describes the pathway for data. The higher the number the better because more data can be sent at one time, like a highway: more lanes, mores cars more data.
512mb 128bit is 512mgs of RAM (random access Memory or amount of information) at 128bits per sec in speed. Same goes for 256mb at 64bit=256mgs of memory at 64bits per sec in speed.
These are for video cards.
You will get other similar like SDRAM or DDRRAM which is the PC's overall random access memory,.
The same method is used on this too.
Ex: 512mb x 128bit=512megs of memory traveling at a speed of 128bits per sec.
Yes it does.
The numbers there means that on a video card it has memory to hold 512 milliion bytes of information. the sencond number says that it can process 128 bytes per computer cycle..
Video hardware affets speed cause it takes alot of the complicated 3d math that creates the polygons and things and proccesses it on the video card leaving the computer to do other things like game logic and controls..
answer to the card 3d video card is far better investment for improved game performance
