Whats the best microphone?

cost between 50-200$

Answers:
It just depends on what you need a mic for. A good mic in that price range would be the Shure KSM-27. It's a large diagphram condenser mic. It'll cost you around 200.00. This type of mic is going to be a good choice for mic'ing voice, acoustic instruments, etc. On the other hand, you can get a Shure SM57 for under 100.00 dollars. This is arguably the best mic there is for mic'ing amps. I frequently see it used for vocals and other acoustic instruments as well. Every mic has it's uses. Even some cheaper mics could be the best for a particular situation. I recommend you read up on different types of mics and what each is used for. For recording applications you should have a few different mics. Some voices sound good on a large diagphram condenser mic while others may sound better on a ribbon mic or a dynamic mic. Do some research.
