How To Remove And Put In A New Pci Express Card?

do i just take the 1 out and put the new en in then install the driver cd tht came with the new en ?

Answers:
Pretty much- it's recommended to uninstall the old video drivers/software before you remove the card (assuming you're replacing a video card)
Read the instructions that came with the card. Most have you install the software first - then the card.
Of course you will want to uninstall your old video card first.
As always - keep yourself grounded by wearing a anti-static strap or keeping one hand on the case.
yes. Turn computer off first of course. Take the old one out carefully place the new one in. Try not to touch any parts. I have never had a shock but it can happen (static shock and damage the board). Then run install disk. It should also auto detect and install it. Disk is mainly for programs like for example... ATI has a control catalyst where you can configure it further etc. Good luck.
Yes you got in one.
