i think Nvidia is the best vga.
It depends what games you like. Whatever was used for the making of the game will be best.. i personally prefer ATI just because my boyfriend does (i think) but i do know that other games play better if you have Nvidia. It says on the back of the box i'm pretty sure.
nVidia is way ahead of the curve on performance. Their video drivers are more stable too.
ATI has become a bit infamous for kicking out unstable drivers...

nVidia definately, ATi has sucked for a long time now, they get alot hotter than nVidia cards and they don't give the same performance/graphics. Also nVidia has full and stable support for Vista, ATi still doesn't support XP stable.
