What is better? buy a Pata dvd burner or a Sata dvd burner?

My computer can use both IDE or SATA. But may intricate drive is IDE. I run under winxp spk2

Answer:
PATA runs at a max 133 SATA I runs at 150 SATA 2 runs at 300. So surrounded by other words a SATA DVDRW is faster and better and more expensive. Good Luck HTH.
Sata would be better
The Sata is slightly faster. But you probably can't tell the difference. Plus it depends what speed you buy.

Last: The inside of your baggage will be less cluttered if you run with the sata.
buy a Blue-Ray or HD-DVD Sata burner would be the best!
