the XFX MB-N680-ILT NF680i LT SLI MCP (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productin... a ideal board for this fan,with plenty of free clearance around the cpu socket and general tidy arrangement of all slots and memory banks
also the Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI NF650i SLi (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productin... another board to think about,the abit fatal1ty is a class motherboard,its well layed out and one of the boards zalman are thinking of when they designed the fan
i havent perosnally got the fan but my mate has and he uses a Asus P5NT-WS,

It will fit on all Core 2 Duo boards. Buy whatever you want. Look at Asus or Abit. They are good and fast. Then get a good Core 2 Duo processor and some thermal grease.

read the reviews, look at the pics. watch for big parts near the socket.
