What CPU is best for gaming: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 or Intel Core 2 Qaud Q6600?
I like to play PC games and also simply task. Internet Browsing, Picture editing, and Video editing. What processor do you suggest?

both of those are resonable well in my case i would go with the e6850 becasue of the 3.0 ghz speed and the 1333 mhz fsb but the downfall is that of the cache with only 4mb that means that it has to goto the rest of board more often and could slow you down. but with all that speed of the fsb and speed of 3.0 ghz i dont think that you would see a big bottleneck.
Most games out currently only utilize one of the cores of the processor. Because of this it is better to have a faster processor with less cores.
Dont listen to Nick O. He doesnt know what the hell he is talking about. I am a member of Geek squad, so I say that neithor are the best. Its all about the GQ stl 2010 super Nova. Thats right I said it.
