Install Ubuntu 7.04 in a SCSU160 drive?

Can anyone help me out in installing Ubuntu 7.04 using a Fujitsu SCSI drive on a Adaptec ASC-29160 card.

Thanks in advance!

Answers:
You may have to have the linux drivers for your Adaptec SCSI controller card, Linux will probe for some cards others it should just ask you if you have the drivers available. If you can not find the drivers for Ubuntu, try the ones for Redhat or Suse, they may work.

If you know someone that also has Ubuntu, you can download the driver source code and compile it on his system, the source code is available at
http://www.adaptec.com/en-us/downloads/l...

Good luck
You should be able to boot right into Ubuntu and when the environment is up and running click on the install icon and follow the directions on the screen.
