How do I find out the speed of my processor?
Answers:
There are hundreds of different little utilities out there that will give you all sorts of specs on your system. But the quick and easy way is to right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop (or in your start menu) and select properties. It should show you right there under the General tab.
You can also go to Start -> Run and type dxdiag. Hit enter.
If you have Windows XP go to Start, My Computer, this will bring up a synopsis of your CPU speed.
the program that i use is cpu-z it tells u plenty of info on the processor and also has other info about your pc like RAM.
Start ->run->dxdiag
In windows, right click on my computer and select properties. On the next window, look down at the computer section, it'll show you your cpu and ram
If you still have XP, go to "My Computer," then on the left it will say "view system information," and you want to click on that. The first tab is "General." There you will find your answers. The processor will be something like 3.07 GHz, and the RAM will say 1024 MB of RAM, or something like that.
I assume Vista has something similar, but don't know for sure.
In xp, click start, right click "my computer" and click "properties". The screen will show what speed the processor is and also how much memory you have installed.
Go to my control pannel select system, and you will see the speed of your processor.
