XP help with cpu (ANYONE THERE)?

If i put a lower speed cpu into my tower and place the hard drive back in. Would XP run fine with the lower cpu speed. It is going from 3.02 Ghz to 2.26 Ghz

Answers:
if you are just changing the cpu then it should be fine. XP i think only reads your bios infromation and that is placed in the mobo...as long as that doesn't change then you should be fine
xp would run good
I've had XP working on a cpu as low as 400mhz slow but still worked
just use lower speed h a h a
