trying to copy films from my friend i get a Dell and a few years ago a friend put in my dvd rewriter surrounded by bought from pc world lb40. no instructions or anything to be found ,my friends films are on dvd -r and my nero tell me its failed , someone told me my burner is a + and not compatable to copy thesis films on -r?? what can i do is there a program almost or just obtain a new burner pls

Look on the front of the drive it should nude the symbols + - that means it take both disc's if it just as the + afterwards you can only write to + disc's.
i deliberate the problem is you have a dvd r and you have need of a dvd rw
