Difference between Processor?

Whats the tech. difference between core solo, core duo, core2duo, dual core processors

Answers:
All of them except the Solo have two processing cores on the same die, whereas the Solo only has one processing core. The Core Duo 2 Duo is a more updated architecture of the Core Duo and is also 64-bit capable. The Dual Core processor line are budget versions of the Core 2 Duo...basically they're reworked versions of the old Pentium D line.
Core 2 Duo would be newer thn Core Duo, both are dual core. Core solo is... well what do you think?
duo is short for doubble so it is 2X faster
