as said up to that time .. go crucial.com will inform you what memory u need since ur not stating the model number..
that will communicate you the type of memory u need ddr / ddr2 etc
as for buying stale auction sites.hhmm hit and miss.. some ppl sell imperfect memory, i always buy mine fresh.
