How do burn a cd on Windows xp?

Step by step instructions please!
Thanks!

Answers:
Insert a blank disc.
there should be a prompt saying
Would you like to burn this disc using .
select your program youd like to use.
and then use instructions from that specific program.
find file you wish to burn, right click on that file selecting sendto_> cdrw (r/s or whatever)
window pops up saying... you now have files ready to be written to cd, click on it, click on the "write these files to cd"

congrats, cd is now written on.
Don't play with fire near the computer.
You can also do this by opening My Computer and double clicking on your CDR drive. You can then drag the files you want to burn to this window.
Click on 'burn these file to CD' to finish.
If you want something free then

cdburnerxp

http://www.cdburnerxp.se/

or deep burner

http://www.deepburner.com/

if you want a paid for solution then Nero burning ROM is what a lot of people use :

www.nero.com

Although I would suggest the latest version of nero burning rom 6.

The built in burner that windows xp has is not very good and so I would not suggest that personally.

Just my $0.02 and its all down to personal preference at the end of the day.
