How much do you think I could get for my laptop?
Intel Pentium 4 processor (with HT) at 3.0 ghz
1gig of RAM
ATI mobility radeon 9700, dedicated 128mb video card.
15.4 inch widescreen - 1280x800 pixels.
Windows XP home edition
24x cd burner/dvd player combo drive.
60 gig 5400rpm hard drive.
S video out, Digital and VGA monitor outputs.
4 usb, a 1394 jack, and the standard mic and headphone jack.
1 pcmcia slot.
built in broadcom 54mbps g/b wifi, which stopped working when I had a motherboard/processor/videocar... replacement in late 2005. I believe I have a 1st gen XPS motherboard in it now (replaced by dell on warranty.), therefore I will include a Cisco Aironet 350 series wireless b adapter (in the pcmcia slot).
2 problems: speakers barely work-- I use a set of external Logitech speakers, or headphones currently. Also, as I mentioned, the built in wireless doesn't work. When I go to install the drivers for it, the laptop always freezes up. every time.
Answers:
Maybe 100- 150.
You see no one wants to purchase a laptop that already has problems.
And.. Its a Dell.
Sorry
honestly not much. Most folks I know wouldnt bother with faulty equipment and simply get a new one.
I don't know.
With lack of speaker and no WiFi, probably $200 if you found a sucker.
You can get a NEW, warrantied Celeron laptop with similar specs for $320-350, and a dual-core laptop for $449.
Is there a specific reason you want one online? Because laptops and PC's are quite cheap after rebates from the big box stores.
