What is the best CPU and Graphics card?
I want to start building my own computer from gash and I cant decide on what is the best to use for gaming..

In graphics cards, find the Nvidia 8 series.
SATA hard drive.
Get lots of RAM also..at tiniest 1GB.
AMD athlon 64 X2 6000+ processor with Nvidia 8 series.. this combination will dispense you high manners for hard core gaming , clear application, animation ...etc...

depends on how many thousands of dollars you can afford to spend. SLI near 2 Nvidia are supposed to be the best graphics. The research ive done leans toward the AMD 64 duo for gaming speed , but multitasking, Pentium 4. Keep asking question,do research,read reviews from magazines similar to game informer. Every company claims to be the best ,so it is a confusing declaration. I ended up going beside Pentium 4 duo E6700.
go for ati radeon, or nvidia, nvidia is a polite graphics card and driver
