How can i rest my computer?
Answer:
If you want a total clear install, i would dance and buy a windows vista or XP disk and run a verbs install
The recovery paraphernalia should be on the PC's hard drive within a hidden barrier. You can access it by pressing Ctrl F11 simultaneously right after restart, before Windows starts.
Dells should hold a recovery divider. You'll know if yours does by going to my computer and seeing a c and d drive. Now you know you do have a repossession partition walk to start/programs/accessories/sys... tools/ then contained by this section you should hold a section for creating retrieval disks. If you already made the disks and you lost them, restart you computer when you are prompted hit the f key which corresponds near setup or recovery something to that disposition. then follow the on eyeshade prompts. If you want to do a complete renew select advanced and then destructive salvage. this will wipe out everything and restore your laptop to factory settings.
Did u get any Cds near your PC or if u have the disc of the OS you could boot from that and install a fresh OS
Your biggest problem is that you bought a Dell! No recovery disks = screwed! You can purchase a salvage disk from Dell and it will cost you about $20-$25. You are still stuck near a Dell which is the same price as if you be to get something better approaching an HP and problems like you enjoy now. Dell is course over rated! Simple as that!!
When you read out youi want it "empty", I assume you mean you want nought but the operating system. If so, this is easy to do . . . IF YOU HAVE AN INSTALLATION DISK FOR YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM.
I fomat (totally erase) my tricky drive occasionally to get rid of adjectives the crap that ends up there, but I hold a full installation disk for WinXP. It takes a touch time to reinstall the op sys (plus all the other programs I want and need), but it's jammy to do.
If you do not have an installation disk for your op sys, afterwards you have a problem. You may failure up having to buy a mew copy of the op sys.
If your computer is reasonably new, and if you rightfully registered your computer when it was bright, you might try contacting Dell (or Microsoft) and explain the problem. Restore disks from Dell or MS might be cheaper than a whole spanking new installation disk.
You also could "borrow" a copy of WinXP from someone, but I won't suggest that because it would be illegal.
