Video Card?
Answers:
I don't quite understand what you're asking, but let me see if I can guess.
You don't see a video card in your computer, I take it. It's probably a on-board video card, which means that your motherboard (the big board that all of your computer parts are typically connected to) has one built in. Or another way of putting it, the video processor is part of the board.
That may be why you don't see a video card. If you are plugging your monitor to a port that's next to your sound card and your keyboard ports, that's usually an indication that you have an on-board video processor.
Either that or you're trying to get your game working and it says that you don't have the right kind of video card. That can be fixed by getting a new one that will fit on your board. If your computer is about 3 years old, you'll need one that has a AGP slot connection, not PCI-e, although regular PCI without the e will work as well but they are usually not powerful enough for majority of 3d video games, such as Sims2.
Video cards are not always a standard item when you purchase a PC and you may need to purchase a video card separately. Check if you need PCI, AGP or PCI Express. PCI Express is the best, but be sure you computer is capable of taking this kind.

Most likely your video card is an on-board card, meaning it's built-in on the motherboard. Normally these are decent cards, but not good enough for many games. I'd suggest going to Best Buy and buy a better card. They can range from $40-$300. If you're just playing SIMS, dont spend too much. But anything other than the on-board card will be fine.
If you dont have that video card preinstalled i would complian!
Your PC doesn't have a particular video card that can display the Sims 2 Body Shop graphics. They're easy to install, otherwise have the geek squad install it for you.
Somewhere on the SIMS 2 bodyshop box there should be "basic requirements" information. It will mention the operating system,RAM required etc.Usually video cards are not pre-installed in new computers unless it's a "gaming" computer.Check the amount of memory(RAM) you have compared to what is needed as well.
yep, its a built in or aka on-board video card, which mean the video card to connected with your motherboard. i personally dont buy motherboard with on-board video, but i do help people built computer with on-board video card when their buget is super low. there is pro and con on them as well.
pros: less things to deal with and good for surfer computer and case with limited space
cons: when on-board video card fail, you need to buy a whole new board, sometime might need to CPU, memory as well, depending on how old the motherboard is
you can run Sims with integrated graphics. -_-" just do a driver update. and some system specs would be nice.
