Sound card and disk check problem, please help!?

Recently my USB ports stopped detecting my keyboard because of a MMORPG I had installed. I used system restore, but it didn't solve the problem--it only made it worse because of, I'm assuming, a corrupted system restore point. Now my computer won't detect my sound card and disk check disables itself upon start-up. I've tried recovering it using disk check manually, but that didn't work either.

I've lost the boot disk for XP, so recovering using it isn't an option.

Is there a way I can fix this problem without having to completely reinstall and lose data?

I've never been good with computers, so thank you in advance!

Answers:
you said when your windows start check disk it canceled by it self like someone press a key on your keyboard right .

and your keyboard not working .. I see

you have a broken keyboard that it keeps pressing all the time and this the reason canceling disk check.
