A Question for Computer Experts about my P.C. !?
My P.C. is A Hewlett Packard Model.
1 GB of DDR1 Ram
A useless IntelExtreme Graphics 96mb.
A 80GB Hard disk.
And several other things ofcourse not much.
Question is what would be the best upgrade that is available for my P.C. right now ?
Also best (good cost) graphic card I can install or if possible can I upgrade my Intel EX2 ?
Is it possible that I can upgrade the Harddisk to a 250GB one and let the files remain or is there any method 4 it ?
Finally , max I can pay 4 my P.c. is $300 - $ 350 .

You could either build a new computer yourself with that money and use your old keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. Or if you want to use keep using the one you have and just want to upgrade the video and add another hard drive.
If you want to upgrade the video and play games, find out if your motherboard has an AGP (I doubt it) or PCI-Express (more likely) slot. If you want to upgrade your video card and your motherboard has neither, you may just want to build a new machine.
For PCI express, I suggest this Geforce 7600. It's great for the money. There's also a good 8600.

For AGP, I think this is the best bet:

If you have neither and you really don't want to build a new computer, but you want a new video card, this is you best bet
A regular PCI card, the best I can find:

For the hard drive, if you have room for it, you could add the 250GB hard drive and have two hard drives. This way you get to keep your current HD, along with a new one for extra space.
You may also want to consider adding a little bit more RAM if you are playing newer games.
Hard drives are getting cheap! it is possible to transfer the files over, i would go with a cd or dvd backup depending on how many and what size of files you need to transfer. the new hard drive would also need to be formatted. i would go with seagate or western digital. ATI makes good vid cards... hope this helped
As it stands right now, you have a pretty good pc. You can ugrade the harddisk, to 250gb.if you put it intenal for around 100. Another is to get another 1gb of ram. Good stick probably about 100 The extra hard drive you can put in if it has an extra space for it in the box. The files stay on the first hard drive and the second is the slave
