or mother board fer adjectives ye white folks..LOL a CPU processes all the background that the PC receives and processes the info,pass it along to the hard drive..the HD next records it onto its storage disk...the larger the storage disk the better the observation. a pent 4 used to be bad to the bone but I get a duo core processor is the way to step now.
