Should i combine two partitions?

my computer has two partitions should i combine them, will it make the hd response faster or boot up faster? thank u in advance.

Answers:
no it will not help you at all to combine the partitions
The best way to make it faster is to install a second hard drive, and put the SwapFile, on the second drive. (Swapdrive) Virtual Drive

Try Partition Magic, to change the size of the second partition.
1. It will not speed up the general use of your computer.
2. It will only speed up your boot if you have GRUB or some other bootloader waiting for you to choose which operating system you want to use on one of the partitions. If you are not dual-booting, this is irrelevant.
3. You do not "combine" partitions. The best that you can do is copy the data off one partition, delete that partition, then expand the other partition to occupy the entire hard drive.
