We just reformatted our pc. Everything is working great except some mouse issues. When the pc sits for a while, the screen goes black, into a sleep mode. But the mouse goes dead too. You have to hit the keyboard to turn the screen back on, but the mouse won't work at all unless you restart. The red light under the mouse isn't even lit up. Is there some sort of setting that is probably on the mouse that i don't know about?

Check the drivers for your mouse.
