Microphone on computer!?
Answers:
did you check its plug into the computer?
i'd assume that the mic bit the dust. You can buy one that should plug in the computer.of course, at 5 years old, unless you've kept up with the upgrades, very soon your system could be considered obsolete. Either way, try plugging in a new mic...if you get no sound from the comp whatsoever, your sound card could be blown.
Well go to volume settings, and make sure the volume of the mic is up so that you can hear yourself when you're talking. If you can hear anything its probably broken/damaged and there's nothing you can do about it. But if i does work make sure the program used to record is recognizing the microphone. Thats all I know.
Goodluck!
i use WINDOWS ME..have built in soundrecorder.so i am not sure if that is same thing you are talking about??
try going into the microphone itself..check properties etc..or open it and check tools etc from there.
did you try to just restart the computer?
sometimes THAT is the best solution. it is a bug there and not the program??
good luck..and keep singing!
*try :
START>RUN>SNDREC.
see if that brings up the recorder mic for lyou.
