2 80mm case fans or 1 120mm?
I know 2 80mm ones will make more noise, but what will move the more air.
My case supports either 2 80mm fans or 1 120mm fans so thats why im asking.
And what do most people get.
I will be doing gaming

Area of a circle is Pir^.
The area of the two 80mm fans would be 10053 sq mm
The area of the 120 mm fan would be 11309.7 sq. mm
If the fans both have the same rpm the 120mm would move slightly more air.
a 120 will move more usually ... theyre pretty dern big ... i use 4 in my case ... they will still get loud so put them on a speed control or use individual speed controls ... some fans come with a controler i recommend that as the cheapest way to go ... and u need some type of temp sensor in the case ... leave them low if its cool ... crank it when u game ..
I'd imagine having 2 80mm fans would be like you said, more noise, but also more power consumption. Depending on the RPM speed of the 120mm compared to the 80mm. The positive aspect of having 2 80mm fans is you can have one directing air flow in the case and one directing air flow out of the case. I'm also a gamer, I have a 80mm on my side panel, 120mm on the back, let alone the 3 fans on my power supply, the 110mm CPU heatsink fan from Zalman and I have an added PCI slot 80mm fan. It's really up to you, I doubt you'll see much of a difference between having either of them. So it's really up to what you think is better.
